Intro
Computer Aided Drafting 1 is a course that offers creation and development of basic mechanical drawing and drafting skills. In this course I learned mechanical drawing skills and how to implement them into drawings. After our mechanical unit, we moved on to computer programs such as AutoCAD, OnShape, and Revit. In this programs we learned how to create orthographic projections, section views, auxiliary views and 3D objects. We shortly learned about both 3D printing and architecture and their significance in our world. My least favorite part of the class was the actual mechanical drawing part, I wasn't very good at it and it took a long time just to get a drawing done and wasn't extremely accurate. My favorite part was using OnShape, I enjoyed creating the sketches and turning them into 3D objects, I liked that some of the objects were challenging and just using the program in general.

My 3D print job was an Xbox controller stand that just holds your controller when you aren't using it.
Conclusion
I really enjoyed this course, I learned basic mechanical drawings techniques, I learned how to use 2D AutoCAD, I learned how to use Onshape and I also learned a little about Revit. My favorite part of this course was Onshape, I really enjoyed learning how to make 3D drawings.
